Hello

first off let me say you have written some very well done tutorials they were very helpful but alas i can still not get my server properly running.

It currently only runs on Lan i have opened what i thought to be the necessary ports on my router but still cannot connect

it says i acess through 27005 so i opened that port instead of the 27015 ans still nothing can you please tell me what ports i need to open exactly with this information

As well i did the mani-plu v1.2 and changed the H button to admin but when i connect on a lan game it says i dont have permisson to access admin even though i put my steam id in the clients list where u instructed it to go

does that include using the STEAM_***** or do i just put the number i left out the date and time or do i need those in there aswell

i know it has been sometime since u posted those tuts but i would appreciate any help that you can give me.

Hey doesnt work for me i have a msi rg54g2 router and the picters say its supposed to have alot more ports but i dont even when everyother port is empty...
(dont say did u pick the rite one cause i know i did i looked at the bottom of my router for name and i looked at the msi routers)
and i try to get it working but it doesnt on mine it only says
Service Name | Private IP | Start Private Port | Type | Start Public Port | Number Of Ports

and for each i put
servicename = css1,2,3,4 etc
privateip it says =192.168.1. i put 9 which is mine
start private port = okay lets say 1200?
type = udp,tcp or both (i put both)
start public port = i put 1200 again
no. of ports = 1
on the others like 27000-27015 do i put them seprately like 27001,27002 or just start private 27000 than start publick 27015? or wat plese help

Well my upload rate is supposed to be 128kb,i did a speed test right now and it gave me 2529.44 bks download and 104.96 upload, but i have this net for more than a year and i used to have 1 mb connection and i never had problems in css,kinda strange! could the new machine be asking for more upload since i play 120+ fps?

Well i'v got xp and not vista,so it should work well,but... and my modem is usb connected,not wireless,and i did all the regular stuff,check for spyware\adware,defragged the disk,reinstalled it 3 or 4 times,even on other partition of the disk,i posted on many foruns out there on the web but no answers till now,the only one i see is that i need a better upload rate cause i'm sending more data now -.-'

Diggz,i solved the fps problem,got a new pc xD but now another problem popped up,i have the same internet,but when in game if i talk my ping goes up to 200,and the more i talk,the more it rises,i can't even be in teamspeak, i found this hard to explain because in my old pc i always had a nice ping,even when speaking in teamspeak,and 3 days after,with my new one,i can't even play right! maybe the pc being more "powerful" and because i play 130+ fps needs a better net connection cause it has to send more data? curiosly,in my private server when i exec the cb config,my ping stops on 27 and i can talk as i want(ingame only,with ts rises up to 100+),with the default cfg my ping never comes down from 400+ :S

Yeah,i defragged the hd, i now got a asus en 8600gt 512 ddr 2 and i tought it would be better,but no :( it keeps not going over the 50,60 fps and always drops when in action :S 1.5 gb and a decent graph card aren t enough? it is the processor?

On the Css_update.bat file when i double click it, it load's and then says "cannot open blob archive
file: CMultiFieldBlob: File does not exist and failed to create new file. Whats wrong and how can i fix it?? i need help time.
