From what I've heard and read, halo ports are legal.
you know what. i take back what i said. i saw a halo smg and shotgun skin for HL and it was legal- :P, but still. i wonder why nobody ever does this skins. maybe i should try it. but i don't like the halo models. too low poly.
Microsoft got a bit of a rep for ripping people a new one who used their IP without permission - they changed their attitudes recently though...

bad news is that the site has proven to be unstable which can dificult things a bit
i experienced errors in uploading my map and i havent done it yet due to those errors
