I think you should have skinned Ivan's Secrets AKS-74u instead.. :(

Done the following to the picture:
Orange Darken layer on Wood at 20% opacity
30 30 30 Linear Burn on plastic part of grip at 3%
30 30 30 Linear Burn on rest of ak74 at 5%
Color Dodge texturing of tape at 30%
Linear Burn texturing of tape at 20%
Addition of angled tape layer

May I make a suggestion about the wood?



Also metal needs more blue/green and less red.

I think the tape on the grip needs to be a bit less even, looks just weird at the moment because it doesn't look like it's wrapped around the grip properly. The wood could use some slight orange undertones, and the steel needs to be a bit darker. Definitely off to a good start.
