Shouldnt the mag be Bakelite?

I found refs where the mag is metal made. So im guessing - it can be different

What range do you use for highlights?

Hmmm... Ive been trying to get a nice looking texture for a while, but cannot get it to look like a real metal.

I guess the pirmary tricks are strong contrast light gradients and some smuggle on lighting to mask the metal base. Colors ofc. And thats all i guess
