A Quick Sniping Tutorial Hey there, fellow gamers! Today, I will be writing a quick tutorial on sniping. This tutorial will be consisted of the following: -How to snipe -How to be accurate with a sniper rifle -How to find great sniping spots -How to use the power of the “No Scope” -And more What is a Sniper? A sniper is usually a long barreled, bolt-action, and scoped rifle. At least, that is how snipers are in video games. Sniper rifles are commonly used to kill people at a long-range. Sometimes, people use snipers at a short-range, which then they do something commonly called a ”No Scope”, which I will be teaching you later in the tutorial. A Perfect Couple Usually, when someone is sniping, they will either stand in one spot, or they will just hide while they are sniping. As most people know, this would be called “camping”. Camping is a method which a player in a game will hide in one spot, waiting for someone to pass by so the camping player could get a kill. In games, someone who is sniping will commonly be called a camper. An example of this is when someone will be hide behind a door, having the middle of their scope between doors, waiting for someone to pass by that they can shoot. If a camper and a sniper get married, I highly doubt that they will file a divorce. Being Accurate. Standing still while sniping helps with a lot of things, including being accurate, being silent, and also helps you get killed. If you are moving around while sniping, your bullet will end up somewhere other than where you had the middle of your scope of your sniper. Also while standing still someone may sneak up behind you and stick a knife up your ass, which then you will be dead. The Perfect Spot I will make this part short and easy. Finding your perfect sniping spot should consist of the following: -Dark and/or shaded -A lot of crates for cover -An uncommonly spotted area -High off the ground -A place that you can spot a lot of players Umm, I don’t have a lot of time, you figure out the rest. May the No Scope be with You. You are sniping…then, suddenly, you hear footsteps. You see some newbie with a knife running towards you. What do you? Zoom in you scope and snipe him off? NO. Run away in fear? NO. Use Lightning-Bolt! Congratulations, you are completely retarded! You will have to use one of the most commonly used methods of short-ranged sniping, the No-Scope. In some video games, like Star Wars: Battlefront, and Halo, the sniper rifles have a crosshair even when you are not using the scope. Other realistic shooters like Counter-Strike, Day of Defeat and Call of Duty 4 do not have crosshairs for sniper rifles when you are not using the scope. In these games you will need to know how to do a No Scope. You can do that the newbie way, and put tape with a plus sign on it, or you can do it the professional way, and memorize where the middle of your screen is so you can use the No-Scope. Posted by Crysys Congratulations, you are completely retarded! sry i had to join in on the fun, but ownt is right you are tellin ppl to cheat. its just like the lazer scout skins. there cheating. its like hacks. cheating. ---------------------------------------------- some times camping for sniping is a good idea but not always camp when necessary. on the being accurate part with the whole moving around and not being accurate there is tricks to make you stop moving immediately and be able to shoot straight. like if your moving side ways by pressing the D key and you want to stop fast get a shot off and move then press the A key while pressing the D key to automatically stop. doing that step helps wonders. Finding your perfect sniping spot should consist of the following: -Dark and/or shaded -A lot of crates for cover -An uncommonly spotted area -High off the ground -A place that you can spot a lot of players Umm, I don’t have a lot of time, you figure out the rest. well your giving a tutorial on how to be a good sniper follow thru with it. this is a newbie that your trying to teach just dont leave him alone by him self. and all sniping spots dont have to be off of the ground. some maps dont even have hiding spots that are high off the ground. lots of players isnt always good either you want a spot where a lot of players go but not where a lot of players are at the same time. cause when you take one of em down they will know where you are. also when you are trying to be a sniper you dont always have to have a sniper rifle. so theres really no need to be a great no scoper. thats when you use your secondary weapon. like a deagle for instance. if your in a tight spot and dont want to use the sniper rifle or you cant use the sniper rifle then you need a good trusty second fire arm. to add on aiming with your scope gives better accuracy instead of trying to no scope. (unless your a cocky noob) no scope should only be used in dyer times of need. like if your upclose to an enemy then stick the barrel right in his face and pull the trigger. you should never try a no scope from long range. maybe mid but thats a 30% chance of hitting the target. please add these tips to this tutorial so i can give it a better rating.

I'm sorry, and you're probably right, but it's just plain bad and unprofessional, especially since he promotes cheating in it.

You call it by the guns name. The last thing in the world you should do as a good player with any gun is camp, why you list this, I don't know. There is also so many typos that it even says "..being silent, and this also helps you get killed" This is very helpful in my objectives, right? All you did was blabber in the no scope section, spamming enter lines and talking about how sniper rifles have no crosshair. Even though I'm sure everyone needed to hear that, none of this tutorial is simple put, helpful, or readable, let alone can I bare it. You must really be horrid at this game, and you don't even cover everything you say you'd cover, if you even did cover anything worth reading. You shouldn't dot your screen, it's avoiding using the game properly to gain an advantage, which is cheating. You have the complete wrong impression with just about everything you've said, and if someone were to follow this guide, they would die. You're very lucky for a 1.5 Approval. You should be disapproved for lacking screenshots, it being illegal (dotting), among others. ahmen

Um, I can scope in on somebody running up to me perfectly fine. It's called reflex. :) A sniper has to have good reflex in order to cope with anything that may happen.
