How to add awesome addons to CSS Server

In this tutorial I will show you how to add some addons into a Counter-Strike Source Server.
Make sure to see the screenshots if you don't understand because it will help alot :)
The addons we will add is:
Beststats (A ranking system)
Knife Syphon (Gives hp on knife kills)
mugmod (any kill with knife steals the enemys money)
ReadRules (forces the player to accept your server rules when he joins)
1. installing eventscript
First of all you most have eventscript and es_tools so go to
http://mattie.info/cs/
Go down untill you see the plugin mod:
EventScripts v2.0.0.247a Public Beta (watch screenshot 1)
Click the download buttom under the description (make sure you get the v2.0.0.247a version because it is the newest one)
Save on the desktop, now after the download you will have a zip file witch you need to unzip with winrar or any other program.
Now simply upload the files from the zip file into your cstrike folder. (delete the addons folder on the desktop that comes from the eventscript zip)
2. Installing es_tools
Now we need to install es_tools so go to
http://forums.mattie.info/cs/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3413
Go down and you will see 3 downloading files (check screenshot 2)
simply download the first download file
Es_tools.zip
Save it on the desktop and unzip it like the eventscript zip, upload the files on to your cstrike folder and then your done.
3. Adding Knife Syphon and mugmod
Now we are ready to start adding some addons.
Seens you got the new eventscript zip here you don't haft to download Knife syphon or mugmod so we are gonna start with those mods.
Go to your cstrike/cfg folder on your server, open the autoexec.cfg (if you don't have one you should make one first)
Add these lines to autoexec.cfg
es_load syphon
es_load mugmod
Save the file and close the autoexec.cfg
Now these mods are loaded and if you want to change the setting on the mods go into
cstrike/addons/eventscript/mugmod
cstrike/addon/eventscript/syphon
And open the .txt file there to change (this may need some experience with scripting)
4. Adding Beststats
This script does not follow with the eventscript zip so you will haft to download it
go to
http://addons.eventscripts.com/addons/view/10497
and press the
download the current version
You will be sent to the forums were the download is on some addons but just click the download buttom on
beststats.zip
(see screenshots)
Now once again you will haft to save the zip on your desktop (be sure that you cleared the desktop from the other things we added before), unzip and upload into your cstrike folder (beware that on this zip the first folder is addons so you only haft to upload it on your cstrike folder but on some addons the first folder in the zip is eventscript, then you haft to upload it on cstrike/addons)
Go into your cstrike/cfg folder, open autoexec.cfg and add this line
es_load beststats
Save and close.
5. Adding ReadRules
This doesin't follow with the eventscript zip either so you will haft to download it from
http://addons.eventscripts.com/addons/view/es_readrules
Click the
download the current version
buttom and this time the download will start directly.
Save on your desktop (allso make sure you have cleared the desktop from the other addons download we did before), unzip and upload it into your cstrike folder
Go to cstrike/cfg and open autoexec.cfg and add this line:
es_load readrules
save and quit
Now we are done, start your server and enjoy your new addons
Add putte23 to your steam if you need help with your server or if this doesin't work(allso if you need some website help :D)
