CSS Weapon Recoil Difficulty: Beginner |
| Category: CS:S > Other/Misc | Author(s): Silent Ricochet |

This was a quick test to show fellow gamers the inaccuracy of weapons of CSS and why fire control is so crucial:
-The first column is the amount of hits uncontrolled.Uncontrolled meaning aimed at the target but the cross hairs weren't adjusted while firing to keep it as accurate as possible. while the second is the amount of hits in the target area while I controlled the recoil to the best of my ability. All shots were fired from approximately 40 feet away using my "Target_Range" map, as used in other tests.
Pistols: All pistols were fired 10 times both un-controlled and controlled and adjusted to the best of my ability (firing as fast as possible). MOST ACCURATE: P228
SMGs: All SMGs were fired 30 times at full auto (exception UMP fired 25 times) both un-controlled and controlled and adjusted to the best of my ability. MOST ACCURATE: UMP
Assault Rifles: All Assault Rifles were fired 30 times both un-controlled and controlled and adjusted to the best of my ability. MOST ACCURATE: Galil

TIPS: The best way to fire an automatic weapon in CSS (for longer than a few round burst) is to slowly drag the mouse downward while trying to aim at your target with the top part of your crosshair. This seems to work best. Crouching helps a ton as well.
