Modelling a Low-Poly M4A1 Difficulty: Beginner |
| Category: CS > Modeling | Author(s): Kfu |

Well, here is another tutorial to learn how to model a low-poly but now a M4A1 for world view (not for player view cause is low poly).
For this tutorial you should use MilkShape 3D, the version i´m using is 1.7.10 but you can use previos version (i think until de 1.0). To download the 30 days trial:

Download the tutorial: http://www.mediafire.com/?2kdiatbw9bw (video tutorial)
With this tutorial i´ll try to explain:
- How to model a low-poly weapon.
- How to photo-skinning. (Yes, again i repeat, i know it isn´t so good as UV map, but i don´t know how to UV map).
Notes:
- To switch a black face to a white face touch Shift + Ctrl + F (all faces MUST be white because that would make the model invisible in some areas).
- To open up the Texture Coordinate Editor touch Ctrl + T.
- To make a good extruding you have to: first, select the faces to extrude; second Duplicate it (Ctrl + D); third invert the faces to black (Shift + Ctrl + F); then extrude it a bit; after that go to Vertex > Mirror Front <--> Back; then Shift + Ctrl + F again and finally put it in the right place.
Hope this will be useful for everyone! |
