| Category: CS > Modeling | Author(s): Kfu |

Well, here is a tutorial to learn how to model a low-poly Glock 17 for world view (not for player view cause is low poly).
Download: http://rapidshare.com/files/97055582/Modelling_a_Glock17.rar.html
With this tutorial i´ll try to explain:
- How to model a low-poly weapon.
- How to photo-skinning. (Yes, i know it isn´t so good as UV map, but i don´t know how to UV map).
The "Modelling a Glock17.zip" (13,7mb) included:
* The videotutorial (14,1mb).
* Reference image (24,1kb).
* Texture (409kb).
* Example model (28,8kb).
Notes:
- To switch a black face to a white face touch Shift + Ctrl + F (all faces MUST be white because that would make the model invisible in some areas).
- To open up the Texture Coordinate Editor touch Ctrl + T.
- To make a good extruding you have to: first, select the faces to extrude; second Duplicate it (Ctrl + D); third invert the faces to black (Shift + Ctrl + F); then extrude it a bit; after that go to Vertex > Mirror Front <--> Back; then Shift + Ctrl + F again and finally put it in the right place.
Hope you like it! |
