Hello!
I am going to tell you how to save and execute
Save:
(Screenshots 1-3)
Find script you would like to save and use.
For example:
Attack crosshair color
Copy the script code (ctrl+c), go to your cfg foldier
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\RE91\counter-strike source\cstrike\cfg
create new text file and name it how you like.
For example: Crosshair.txt
Open the .txt file, its empty, so you paste (ctrl+v) script you copied, save and close.
Now, its time to make it into cfg file, so you rename (F2) Crosshair.txt to Crosshair.cfg. Itll give you some message, press OK to continue.
Note: If you dont have .txt, .cfg endings, you can do it another way: (not sure about this)
Go to Crosshair.cfg propeties (right click and propeties), Now change you can see crosshair.txt there, now rename it to crosshair.cfg, click apply and ok.
Now you have done the saving.
Execute:
(Screenshot 4)
In-Game, you can execute the script typing next this into console:
exec Crosshair
Now you have done executing =)
If you dont have console you need to do this:
Open your steam, click "My Games" tab - Select Counter-Strike: Source - right click -> propeties - Set launch options.. - and type there: -console
Tip: If you dont want to type this every time you go playing, you should bind your scipt(s) to buttons.
My script is binded to enter:
Bind enter "exec script", or bind enter "exec Script1; exec script2; exec script3"
There is also way to exec script without binds, called autoconfig but i dont know anything bout that =)
If i have wrote or explained something wrong, report it by leaving message, please, thank you!
Ill be adding screenshots soon! |
