How to add startup music in CS 1.6
Difficulty: Beginner
Category: CS > SoundsAuthor(s): chrisbitm

This tut regards putting gamestartup music in CS 1.6.

Note: I have tested this and it does work. I have tested this on CS 1.6 and it works.

Find an mp3 that you like to play when you start CS 1.6.

Go to:
C:/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/user_name/counter-strike/cstrike

Make a folder called media if you don't have it
(As seen in Screen Shot A).

Then, inside of that folder, rename an mp3 "gamestartup" (without quotations and no .mp3 extension).
(As seen in Screen Shot B).

That's it.

Other Notes

I have not tested this on other formats (Wav, cda, etc). but when I do, I'll post it in my tutorial.

Thank you for reading
