Reporting Posts Difficulty: Beginner |

Introduction
Have you ever seen a post that you felt isn't up to the quality standards of FPSB? Ever wish there was a quick and easy way to tell someone of such a post? Well, there is such a way, and I'll show you how to make your time at FPSB a bit better and my job a bit easier.
- Step 1
Find a post you think should be deleted or withheld. Once you see one, you should see a number of icons under the posters uPic or username. One is for quoting that post, and another, the upwards arrow, takes you to the post profile page. Click that. Refer to screenshot A to see more of what I'm talking about.
- Step 2
Ok, that should take you to a new page. You won't be able to see the post itself, but you will see a report post module, that's what we're interested in. Choose an appropriate reason and then hit report. Look at Screenshot B (Thanks Rootbeerz!) for a more info.
- Step 3
After that, your part is pretty much done. It appears on a moderator's sidebar, screenshot C, and from there we can withhold or delete the post. If we feel that the post is legitamite, we can dismiss the report.
Conclusion
Now that you know how to use the report feature, I hope you all use it. We won't withhold everything you report, and don't expect us to either. If you spam reports, you can be gagged from them. Please use them responsibly and help make FPSB a more enjoyable place. This works on CSA as well as any other post. Thanks! |
