HK Style Grip Texture

We are trying to mimic the grip pattern on a Heckler and Koch pistol:



On to the tutorial!



btw: Top layer = the one you did the emboss on.

Bottom layer = the one you did the glowing edges on.

You do know most pistol with plastic or poly grips are heat stippled to have more grip so all that wierd stuff on the grip that is bumpy is heat stippling its were you imprint a mark on the grip simultaniousley all over the grip

I tried it on Desert Eagle handle and it doesnt even look close to this.


I just tried this again now. I got exactly the same result as the one in the tutorial.

Top layer = the one you did the emboss on.

Bottom layer = the one you did the glowing edges on.

That would explain a lot, I put glowing edges on top.

i do, but somehow it doesn't do what i want it to, i just can't get the end result.
