So you wanna make a sweet signature? Well you have come to the right place.
We are ganna learn how to make this:

Ok well lets get started.
First off for the brushes you can go to www.deviantart.com for the brushes because that is where i got mine :)
For the gradients you are just going to have to Google and download some or make it if you like because i cant remember where i got mine. Sorry.
Ok here we go:
First, of course open PS, i am using CS3 just a FYI
Start a new page and make it 800X400 or whatever you like
Now add black and white clouds Filter/Render/Clouds
Take out that favorite grunge brush and start a brushin in black and white
Ok now take your render and slap it near where it will be and start to smudge with whatever you like, i used a chalk and butterfly brush.
Now put your render where you want it and smudge a little on the sides
Now add some explosion brushes that can be found at deviant art by searching "photoshop explosion brush" i also used some glitter brushes for the sparkle things.
Now its gradient map time Yippee!!!
so follow the following gradients from the next screen shots
Whew thats over, so lets finish it up shall we.
First make a new layer and then apply the image.
Then add a little more explosion brushes and just touch it up a bit.
Now the final step! add some text and a border.
For my text i made it white and put it on overly.
