This is a tutorial on how to touch up your scenes in a very dramatic and gritty way.
For this tutorial you will need GMOD, Photoshop, and a decent brain.
Also, this tutorial is so easy it doesn't take any screenshots!! :D
example of what it will look like..
(see picture B)
o.k.!
Here we go!
1: Open up your screenshot..
2: Change the brightness to about +20 (image>adjustments, brightness/contrast), the higher the brightness, the higher the brightness will be in the final image, how obvious isn't it? :D
3: Now right click on your background layer (the one you made lighter) and duplicate it.
4:Now select Layers in the Image>Adjustments menu.
Drag the middle slider all the way to the right, its alright if it leaves your picture all black! don't worry! :D
5: If your image is entirely black you can skip this step!
Now go to gaussianblur in the filter menu and set it to a radius of about 9... :D
6: Go to your layers tab and set the property of that layer to ''screen''.
7: Make a copy of the background layer (NOT THE SECOND ONE!) and drag it so it's above the second layer
8: Give this layer a GaussianBlur of about 3 pixels, the higher the number the higher the amount of shine in the final version.
9: Now go to Image> Adjustments and select ''Desaturate''.
10: Now set the properties of this layer to ''Overlay''.
11: and now flatten the layer (Right click on the final layer and select flatten).
12: YOUR DONE! It looks awesome doesn't it!?!?
(sorry for my bad English, im not English/American.. and im only 15.. and i dont really have experience with HTML either! sorry)
well hope you had fun, i did.. and success! :D
( :D <-- i love that smiley :D)
