OK first of all you need to have read and completely understood my first tutorial located here. This tutorial will explain how to take models you have downloaded from another CSS server and how to get them onto your server as admin skins. You need lots of patience and good keyboarding skills because in this process if you mis-spell even 1 letter it could not work or even worse crash the server. The very first step is to find a model you want. Try to remember which folders you downloaded it to while joining the server. If you didn't thats ok because it's not that hard to find it. Next, after you've found the model you want, go into this directory on your computer C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\\counter-strike source\cstrike\materials\models\player and browse through the folders until you can find the model that you wanted from another server. Once you have located it, open notepad. Write down the file locations, i will use the werewolf model as an example. So in notepad i would write down the files like this: materials/models/player/elis/lw/eyeball.vtf materials/models/player/elis/lw/eyeball_l.vmt materials/models/player/elis/lw/grointarga.vmt materials/models/player/elis/lw/grointarga.vtf materials/models/player/elis/lw/new_ww_body2.vmt materials/models/player/elis/lw/new_ww_body2.vtf materials/models/player/elis/lw/new_ww_teeth.vtf materials/models/player/elis/lw/new_ww_teeth.vmt materials/models/player/elis/lw/new_wwlowerteeth.vmt materials/models/player/elis/lw/new_wwlowerteeth.vtf materials/models/player/elis/lw/weretongue.vmt materials/models/player/elis/lw/weretongue.vtf materials/models/player/elis/lw/werewolf_normal.vtf Make sure you copied it down word for word, and letter by letter, because if you didn't it will not work and you may have bad outcomes, i'm speaking from personal experience. Not to discourage you or anything :). Next you need the models. Go into this directory with the same notepad still open. C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\\counter-strike source\cstrike\models\player Note: it should have the same folder names as the materials. So find the models of the player theres usually only 6 things of the models you should need. If theres more then don't use the skin. Write down the file locations like you did with the materials like this: models/player/elis/lw/lycanwerewolf.dx80.vtx models/player/elis/lw/lycanwerewolf.dx90.vtx models/player/elis/lw/lycanwerewolf.mdl models/player/elis/lw/lycanwerewolf.phy models/player/elis/lw/lycanwerewolf.sw.vtx models/player/elis/lw/lycanwerewolf.vvd Once you have those written down, save it. You will know what to do with it if you read my other tut. Next: right click on your desktop and press "New WinRar archive" name it whatever you want .rar Open it up, right click and press "Create New Folder". Name it materials. Go all the way through creating new folders until you create elis. Once you have created the folder named elis, go into it and with your cstrike folder drag & drop the "lw" folder into the .rar file. Do the same thing with the models. You should end up with a .rar that has all the materials and models listed in your notepad in the correct places. Next upload the .rar to your server and press "Unrar" under actions. You should know the rest from here from the .txt document. Let me suggest using firefox, i used internet explorer for a while working on servers and it crashed all the time when i was uploading thing. Firefox has yet to fail me.
