ok this is how to make transparent sprays with GIMP
1. first pick out an image that you would like to make transparent click file open then find the image and open it
2. now click on the magic wond. in the first picture i have it circled in blue
3. click where you would like to have it transparent and then up at the top select filters > colors > color to alpha. I have it circled in black in the second picture. a screen should pop up and just press ok
4. it should become a checkered black and gray screen. that means it's transparent. if you want any other spots to be transparent use the magic wond again and click where you want it to be transparent. Press Ctrl and k together and it should become transparent.
5. then when you are done goto file up at the top. I have it circled in green in the second picture and then click save as a screen should pop up and don't just click save because jpeg images cant handle transparency. on the screen select "select file type (by extension)" i have this circled in black in the third picture. After that, save it as a .tga or .bmp. I am saving it as a .tga. I have it circled in purple in the third pick.
6. After you cick .tga or .bmp choose what folder you want the picture to go in and click save. I have it Circled in red in the third picture.
7. sometimes when you save it a screen will pop up and just click ok or sometimes another screen will pop up and just click export
8. start up css. goto options and find the image you made and start a game and try it out
Enjoy!
