Wait command explained
Difficulty: Intermediate
Category: CS:S > ScriptingAuthor(s): J2K

Wait; - Stops command parsing until the next frame.

The number of wait commands you use is the number of frames it will wait until the next command is passed.

To calculate the length of your wait commands in seconds, divide the number of waits by your frames per second.

s = w / f
s is the time in seconds
w is the number of wait commands
f is the average frames per second

Below is an example using 5 wait commands with a frame rate of 100:
s = 5 / 100
s = 0.05

Therefore 5 wait commands at 100 frames per second is a 0.05 second wait.

Hope this helps people understand how to use this command (:

Jay.

Pros: Not found any explanation of the wait command anywhere else. This is clear and simple to read (and no hard to read blue font =P )
Cons: None.
Improvements: Maybe some situations you would use different timing with the wait command?
Notes: Thanks!

This is really not a tutorial.
