Adding Rain or Snow to a CSS Map.

So for this tutorial I am going to assume you have a map ready and awaiting the rain. I am using a really small and simple map for this tutorial. (See Screenshot 1)
1. The first thing you are going to do is, make a trigger box around the area you want the rain or snow to be falling. (See Screenshot 2)
(Inter Step) To find the trigger tool go into your Texture Application Tool (or the colorful box on the right). In this window hit browse, and at the bottom of the window is filters. Type tools in the filters and browse to the bottom to find trigger. Double Click and now triggers should be selected. Now click the Block Tool which was one above the Texture Application Tool. Go to your map and drag a box around the area you want it to be applied. Set sizes and your good to go. (see Screenshot 3)
2. Now that you have your trigger you are going to hit ctrl and t on your keyboard. What this is doing is hammer is now tying your trigger to an entity. You can also do this by right clicking on any view except for the camera view and selecting tie to entity. (see Screenshot 4)
3. Now that your entity window is open go up to where it says, func_detail and scroll down to where it says, func_precipitation. This will open a window where it says Name, Parent, Density, Color, and Type. You can fiddle around with these. Name and Parent aren't really important.
Density controls how hard it will rain, color controls, well i am sure you can guess, and the type controls if it is snow, snowfall, ash, or rain.
Any of these can with this tutorial I just used the two most commonly picked. (see Screenshot 5)
4. Now save and run your map. The map can be ran without vis and rad if your just testing and the rain or snow will still work.
This concludes my tutorial on rain and snow. I hope it helps you make wonderful and creative maps for everyone to enjoy.
