Making .wav file work in CS Difficulty: Beginner |

Requirements:
- Wave Recorder ( in Windows for Editing the sound )
Problem:
The sound doesn't work, everytime I enter this command "spk ambience/something.wav"
To fix the problem
1. First right click on that .wav file then click Record
2. Click on File>Properties a windows pop-up should open
3. The pop-up window should be like this

4. Click on "Convert Now..."
5. On format choose "PCM" and in "Attributes" choose 8.000 kHz, 8 bit, Mono 7 kb/sec
The Picture should be like this:

6. Press OK. then press OK again
7. Click "Close" Then click "Yes"
8. Play the game then test it.
The command you type in console should be like this:
"spk ambience/something.wav"
You'll notice the sound is playing.

If you are in wrong spelling the wav file will not play. |
