Adding shattering glass Difficulty: Intermediate |
| Category: CS:S > Mapping | Author(s): |

Ok I have seen a tut already covering this subject, but there is an easier way. Ok lets start this 1 step at a time.
1st: Make your glass wall, window, or what ever the glass is.
2nd: alt + t or right click tie to entity.
3rd: Make the glass func_breakable Most people use func_breakable_surf This isnt right I never got that to work so use func_breakable.
4th: Go through the the options setting the gibs (glass for glass objects, metal for metal objects etc) I also put gib direction on relative to attack, makes the shatter look more realistic. Strength is how strong it is etc.
After all of that you should have a glass panel that can break refer to screenies. If you need any more help PM me or just ask here.
Sorry my hammer screenies keep getting messed up so i did my best to describe this to you. Hope this helps someone.
