Installing CS 1.6 Skins
The Easy Way - By UnderdogDesigns
There are many ways to install skins. In fact, after a while, installing CS 1.6 custom skins is a breeze, to most of us. But there are the few noobs or at least people new to CS 1.6 that do not know how to install skins, if this sounds like you, then this tutorial is just the thing for you!
First, lets start off by downloading a tool (made by me) that will guide you and install the skins for you. This tool makes sure that the skins' names are correct and that the skin is in the right place.
The tool's FPSB page can be found here and the download page is here.
Now once you have that tool downloaded, run it and it will automatically install. Then go to your start menu and you can find it there. Now once it is run it should look like this:

Now after running the program, you have to locate your cstrike/models folder, which is very simple. Just follow the example shown above and you will find it without any troubles.
Second, locate the skin you want to install. Just download one from fpsb and then unzip it and locate it with the tool. Almost done :)
Lastly, select the weapon the skin is for and the view it is. Just look at the skins file to find out the view.
v_ models are what you see in first person view.
w_ models are what you see when you drop your weapons on the ground.
p_ models are what you see in third person view.
After all of that, click the INSTALL button and the skin will be automatically installed. Go into CS 1.6 and check it out for yourself. Repeat if needed.
