Playing WAVS using HLSS.

HLSS is a program that plays WAV formated songs over mic. This is a simplified tut on how to get it set up and running. Also on how to convert music. Ok so here is the site.

Download all the files in the download section. YOU WILL BE NEEDING ALL OF THEM!
Also download autoexec.cfg. Just follow the link below and dump the file in your cstrike/czero folder. Make sure you set it so it always opens with Notepad.

Start up the game and open up the console by tapping "~" and type "ToggleWav" and press enter. Quit after.
Open up HLSS and click the folder icon with the check on it as in screenshot A.
Click on browse,(This is the default root) "Local Disk (C:)", "Valve" folder, "Steam" folder, "SteamApps" folder, ACCOUNT NAME folder, then Counter-Strike or Condition Zero Folder, cstrike or czero folder then ok.
The game directory should be
C:\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\YOURACCOUNT\condition zero\czero\
or
C:\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\YOURACCOUNT\counter-strike\cstrike\
Next, setup dBpowerAMP. Open it. Then select a song you want to convert. This works for MP3's or .WAV formats. Then refer to screenshot C for what to do next.
Remember where you save it. :) Default root for savings is going to Start> My Computer> Local Disk (C:)> Converted Music.
Goldwave is a program for editing music files such as reducing the volume. This is usefull if you play loud techno music or heavy rap or hip-hop.
Setup and open up goldwave.
Open your music.
Refer to screenshot D.
Refer to screenshot E. The green arrow is to play and test the music. The Master [dB]: is the volume control. Presets are effects really. Boost bass, reduce mid 'n such. I suggest you set the Master [dB]: to -10 for loud music.
Click "ok" and click "Save".
Now, open up HLSS again.
(Refer to screenshot F) Click on the green plus sign that is circled in red.
Click on the tab with "...".
Open your WAV file.
Then ok.
Shortcuts. I recommend using keys starting with "F2" until "F11" and not "F5". Just click the shortcuts and press one of the recommended keys.
Then click the thumbs up icon.
Startup your game.
Make a new server.
Type these commands in the console by tapping "~".
"sv_voicecodec voice_speex" press enter.
"sv_voicequality 5" press enter.
Press the shortcut key. You'll know the shortcut key works if a black bar at the top of your computer screen shows and has the directory of the song you're playing. Press the "Delete" button. It's near your Insert and Home keys.

That's it! Your finished! Now you know how to use HLSS! Just don't spam the mic when your not suppose to. :| Now go young one, play music!
