This is a simple tutorial for users of Cerulean Studios' Trillian Messaging Software, which can be found here.

This tutorial is a work in progress, and all of your constructive input will be appreciated.

First go to the section designated "manage my connections." You will be able to see all of you current connections and accounts that you have selected for Trillian to access. Select the IRC section and fill out the information as required. (Notice Graph A)

Once you've placed your nickname and other information, click on "change", this will lead you to the conneection preferences window; where you will be able to login to the IRC server through your account, change your kick, and goodbye message, among many other options. You can also mask your IP address (+x mode), place in a script of your choice and make commands run automatically.

Perform Buffer: This will perform tasks automatically for you, such as joining a channel, setting +x mode, and log you in with the IRC server if you're a mod. These commands are separated by a semicolon, and you can use as many commands as you wish. E.g:

/AUTHSERV AUTH nickname password; /mode +x nickname; /join #fpsbanana

I will add more information and links as time goes by. If you want any further help/information, please leave a message in my profile or our IRC channel #fpsbanana @gamesurge.net
