So you wanna' create your very own menu background, aye? Well, I'll tell you, right now, at this very moment. KEEP IN MIND This program is meant for Counter-Strike 1.6 and/or Counter-Strike: Condition Zero. The best image resolution for this program is 800X600, anything lower or higher will result in a slight fuzziness. STEP ONE Download this little program called Cake v0.1 Beta over at the tools section. STEP TWO Open up Cake and click on Load Image. STEP THREE Search for your desired image or wallpaper and click on Open, a resolution of 800X600 is recommended. STEP FOUR Click on Save To Directory. STEP FIVE Save it to your, ..SteamApps/YOUR_EMAIL/counter-strike/cstrike/resource/background Remember, if a folder doesn't exist, then create it. STEP SIX Startup Steam and enjoy your new and sexy background. If you run into any trouble, then honk my horn.

Great program, I've been using Cake for like a year or something. Unfortunately, the link to the Cake tool is broken.
