3D World Studio is a constructive solid geometry (CSG) modeler with support for object placement, terrain, and lighting.

3D World Studio was designed with the philosophy that ease-of-use and power are not antagonistic. No other modeler automates processes like UV mapping and light calculation, yet still allows low-level access to all elements of a scene. This is a tool designed for the mass production of media, using the fewest number of mouseclicks possible to generate the high-quality results you need.

Intelligent Geometry

Constructive solid geometry (CSG) is a powerful geometry type that allows mathematical operations arbitrary triangle meshes do not. These operations form the basis of advanced techniques like binary space partitioning (BSP) and portal occlusion systems.

For u who finds this a useless or nonsens editor i can tell u that its very much improved, better handled than hammer (my opinion), (and i know what iam talking about i've mapped alot since the oldies of worldcraft editor. other cool features is that i can export to .b3d / .x / .dbo / .map / .wmp / .fy / .txt Formats, which makes u able to work also with 3ds max, ultimate unWrap3d, and even better you can use these formats and serveral game engine og gamemaking programs like RC (RealmCrafter etc.!) ;) there u go

It looks like hammer, but if you read the top of the description it says its for the leadwerks engine, not the source engine. there's the difference.
