VTFEdit fixed + dotnetFX
ok, u use this program to recolor or retexture vtf(valve texture file) files
you might need to install the dotnetfx if you dont already have it...
REQIERMENTS: photoshop(any), a valve game, this program.
what you need to do is find a vtf file that you want to change (ex:shotgun_albedo.vtf) , then open it in VTFEdit and press export in FILE menu and save (as a TGA file) anywhere.. then you open the file you saved in photoshop and edit at your liking, then save your file again and open vtfedit, then press import in the FILE menu and select the file you just saved, then it should open in vtfedit then just save it anywhere, and then just drag and drop to where you found the file from the beginning and replace the original... then start your game and enjoy your new texture!!! :)
hope the description wasnt confusing. o.0 |
