ok, i didn't know where to put this, so i put it here.

anyway, i've seen some of the new skinners here start off on the wrong foot. one of the reasons for this is a funky base texture. so, i decided to make a free to use one (don't credit me)

i skinned a quick barrel to show how it can be used.

just thought i'd throw this out there

Definitely good but I've seen much better. But as long as I don't have to make it. Less effort for me.

Woah! Best one ive seen so far man! Like it alot and gonna use it for my mac11, could you help me learn how to use it tho? Ive looked through all of the tuts but none ring a bell.
