The Medals Module is discontinued.

I know security, inside and out.
The medals module has been shut down. It will not re-appear.

Cookie, who hosted and coded the module, has told me that he will no longer support the module, and it is therefore shut down, and it will not reappear. He apologizes for this.

I respect his decision, and I expect you all do too.


I would personally like to thank all of the contributers, you've been a support beam for a great module. Cookie also thanks you for your generous contributions.

Please note, this does not change any of your stats. Any medal you had is not "lost." You can get other medal modules where your stats are the same, and displayed as such.

Thank you all, it was a good run. :')

The answer to his question is that the module will be updated by you and me - I never intended for it to be taken down when I was banned.


As spoken by Cookie Monster in the IRC.

Also, Deltabell, Cookie requested I add it.

Cookie's XTHML tutorial will also soon be available from an ad-free website.

Try refreshing a couple of times and clearing your cache. It's working for me, and I know for a fact the code executed is the same whether it's I or you.

Mine didn't show up either, I deleted the old Medals module and then they showed up.

Ive made these two medals (i thought they were kinda missing in the module):


This one is for the people who get, lets say... 120 hours online in the website.

This one is for the people who contribute with a submission to fpsbana, just to distinguish the users who just download from the ones who actually contribute (they get the medal for the 1st submission they make).

I'm pretty sure the API doesn't let you track time. As for submission medals, there are already some. I'll ask Cookie if I see him around, though. I do hope I see him soon.

The point of the submission medal, is more like of a little push for people to submit cool things and all, because if you need 5 maps to get a medal (not me but other people) people will just say they cba and drop all chances to start. But... is cookie the only one who can manage the module? i mean, you're the one who appears in the module thingy ^^

Well, it's still Cookie's module, and he hosts it (and does everything with it). I only appear to be in charge because he's banned, and he wanted to contribute to the site even if he couldn't be here.
