Thanks guys. Hopefully this thread will end up saving me some time, rather than wasting it. Assassin, I just try to make sure that any part that should be transparent (smoke, fire, glow, etc) actually is transparent outside the border, and hope for the best. If anyone's got any ideas/suggestions on how to make future sprays better, I want to hear 'em. I don't make the sprays for myself.

Wow, this is excellent. Perfectly written and displayed. I love your collection DeadPool. Gorgeous. <3 I have many of these cards myself from when I use to collect comic cards. I also am going to watch this thread because it is outstanding. : ) One thing, the "Brought to you by Kirby's Playhouse" it says, spray isntead of sprays. <3

Well, I did kind of invent the "popping out of the border" sprays. I figure that gives me some extra time with the style before it gets tired. Any other ones you see are total ripoffs (and usually anime girls...). I've actually got more of this type of spray, but I didn't want to put too much old crap in here. Also, now that I check, the third Apocalypse spray isn't popping out! That aside, Branches (and a couple other people recently) were asking for some Batman sprays, so right now I'm looking through comics for good Batman crap. Now, I'm about to tell you a big secret.... all the art in every Batman comic ever made sucks. If anyone's got a good site or anything with batman pictures, please post it.

How do you make the sprays so sharp in-game? ive been trying that with mine and they just show up blurry

My last step in spray making is clicking "sharpen" until it looks one click overly sharp. No matter what, the spray will always end up blurrier in game than the image you made; slightly over-sharpening helps this.

That's a good idea; I'll add a little "requested sprays" category. Can you plop the spray I made for you in my dropbox? I don't keep any personalized sprays I make for people. Edit- Alright cool. I'll put something up once I've collected a few more from people. In the meantime, I'm adding my GUIs to this thread. I don't make them often, and I only have a few done, but they fit with the rest of the thread. I'll add the old ones soon. 4 new ones are up.

Thanks, guys. Ok, so i've changed the thread name to include all things "Creative", and updated the images accordingly. I've got the 4 new Hi-Resolution Widescreen GUIs up under the New stuff. I've also added all my old GUIs to the bottom of the original post; 4 of which have music!

Edit: You're sprays are still really good though man, keep it up!

Arez, they've been used on graphics forums not in CS:S as sprays. And your work is great Dead, the quality of all the sprays and GUIs are awesome. I have a question by the way, where did you acquire that picture of the master chief?

Yeah, obviously people have done pop-border-art before... Just not as sprays. (I'm sure a few have been made in the history of spray making; but they were individual things. And mostly likely not involving the amounts of work that go into all of mine) Jesse... unless you are GayNub, I don't see why you're even still posting. Don't try to start an argument here, I'll just trash all your posts to save time. EDIT- I'm looking for the original MC picture now, but I got it from Marvel.com. It's the cover to their upcoming Halo: Uprising miniseries.
