Something i'm curious about, do many of you members of FPSB play with Tech Decks?

I began using them at school when i was bored in class... grinding my files mainly. I also use them while at the computer, when awaiting replies to PMs and threads.

I have now got to the point people can name a trick and i can pull it off perfectly, none of that random flip-it-1000-times-and-hope-it-lands crap.

I also built some kicker & vert ramps in woodwork at school, but have since moved on to official Tech Deck skate parks & grind rails.

Anyone else out there any good at using Tech Decks?

Note: Before any Tech Deck haters decide to flame this thread, i have skated on a real skateboard for 6 years.

I can kickflip, varial, 180 kickflip, ollie just above knee height, 50-50 grind, boardslide, do a heap of freestyle stuff like Rodney Mullen and a few other flip tricks.

No doubt others that are good with Tech Decks can also skateboard in real life, so i don't wanna hear any "OMG WTF n00b learn to skate for real!!!111" crap. People can be good at both.

Lol dys, i started out that way too. The true skill is where you can say "i will 360 flip" then flip the board once while it does a 360. People at work these days stare in awe when i bust out every trick they name.

Lol, Dude see back in elementary for me I got in worse trouble in those wrong place wrong time situations so I tried to not get into that kind of trouble but if I never did I bet I would do that.

Man, I remember when I used to play with those. I was like 7 or 8 in Brazil. At the time it was a HUGE thing. There were competitions on TV and all of that. But I could only do the "flip-it-1000-times-and-hope-it-lands crap". =\

Ha but i just lost mine but i also have a handboard (a really big tech deck) and i do tricks on that when i bored.

HaHa. Funny thread. I used to tech deck when I was little around my house. Now, if I see one laying around my brothers room I'll just use it in there if I'm bored. They are fun to use if you're waiting for something on the computer to load.
