This has been bugging me for quite some time and seems like a very simple thing to update.

Currently, page views are recorded in threads & submissions, but are not added together and put into the #SUBS_COUNTS# module (except the Pages count).

This would be great to see updated some time shortly.

If you agree, vote ^_^



The above pic is what i am talking about. None of the counters work, this module is broken.

Are you asking for a count of how many page views all of your submissions have gotten?

Look at your submissions page. All the "Page views" column of the submission count table is empty, except the pages row.

I just want the rest of the counters to work.

Nevermind, I was looking at the other Submissions modules. Yeah, it would be nice if the counters worked, at least for the major submissions types.

Yeah, if you look at mine Tuts, Pages, Sprays, and Threads are the only ones with values and some of them clearly are out of date (Tuts, for exampe).

The counters work fine in each individual thread / submission, with the number of views shown at the top and bottom of the page. These views just need to be added together and put into the submissions counter.

Example:

Thread #1 - 520 views
Thread #2 - 5,013 views
Thread #3 - 1,100 views

These three threads' total views would then be put into the #subs_counts# module and show up as:

Section     Subs     Views
Threads       3         6,633

The submission counts rebuild at random each night. I can't say when but eventually the threads will be targeted for rebuilding.
