As they announced the dlc they said you wont play them, just meet them.

I find it funny that for the poster they basically just cut and pasted the L4D1 surviors from the poster (The Last Stand).
i hope that you can play as them at least in verses or survival.
it'll be funny if they meet up like in shawn of the dead when he party meets his ex-girlfriend's party.

If Valve made a DLC for L4D1 where you do this exact same area (obviousy different checkpoints and whatever) but from the original survivors point of view that would just be awesome.
