Ok I'm about to buy vista someone explain 32 and 63bit vista for me.

If you haven't got a 64 bit processor then you won't be able to run on 64 bit. Currently 64 bit is quite unsupported compared to 32 bit and right now there isn't much performance gain. I'd personally go with 32 bit.

Most programs have had fixes and are now working on 64bit as of service pack one. I'd go for 64bit.

The fact that you can't use unsigned drivers on a 64 bit install is complete shit, I mean, almost EVERY driver I use is unsigned... It would render my PC useless, Especially for people with new hardware and components.

It's best to dual boot with both x64 and x86. most CPUs support 64-bit now, the core2 is 64 bit compatible. install high cpu programs on 64-bit and most other things in 32-bit. unless you're paying for vista but i don't know why you would do that.
