CS:S Nametag Help Need to findout how to edit my nametag in a particular fasion.

Well, I don't know if any of you will figure this out, but recently I have noticed people editing their nametags so it appears to be their name/alias inside of a " rectangle ". People can also make Dollar Bills with this trick. It's pretty hard to explain, I wasn't really paying attention at that moment, but I saw someone say that you needed to use symbols in a certain order, like, I don't know, ( ' blank ' ) or something like that. It made it look so the letters were smaller and their were horizontal lines on the top/bottom of each letter, and at the beginning/end of their name there was a vertical line to complete the " rectangle ". It's getting me very confused and for some reason nobody will answer me when I ask them how they did it lol. I'm hoping you experts will help a poor noob like me. I know I might be hard to understand but that's the best I can describe it. Thanks.

Windows startbutton > all programs > accessories > System tools > character map. think thats what u want... edit: wtf do u want !? xD

I'm fairly certain character map can't do the rectangle thing.

Yeah they can't, I have alot of experience with those characters, none gave me the results I was looking for. Smurf I told you it was hard to understand :P. Idk how to explain it. It kind of looks like this: [BadNeighbor] EXCEPT theres horizontal ( Lines which are going like ______ that ) on the top (AND Bottom), to make it look like a rectangle.

Yeah lol. I've also seen people making strange s**t with symbols that look like eagles/falcons, they can't be found in the character map I believe.

This is getting really annoying. The next person I see with their nametag like this, I'm adding them to steam friends right away and spamming them to hell until they show me how lol.

I bet there's just like an html code of letters with ___ above and below them then all the have is a \| or [] at the beginning and end.

I think it's a matter of symbols though, you can notice inbetween each letter at at the top of the rectangle theirs a space in between each one, so obviously it's done letter by letter. I'll try to take a screenie tommorow and post it, will be hard though lol. LOL WTF!?

I know how to make that gun. Jeez I posted it... You need to answer the original question ya silly. Oh and, resize the image so that it doesn't stretch the thread. Just add this to the image html: width=800 So it'd look like:

Yeah, I can do that too. I'm referring to the original threads question not to getting the gun to work. The gun is a copy paste job.

I have the answer, COPY \| ̲̅є̲̅ρ̲̅ι̲̅с̲̅¤̲̲̲̅̅ƒ̲̅ă̲̅ι̲̅l̲̲̲̲̅̅̅ŭ̲̲̲̅̅я̲̲̲̅̅є̲̲̲̅̅\| to NOTEPAD and leave the boxes in there. Just relplace the letter inside it that you know exist. for example you see boxbox E box box P box box I change it to boxbox LETTER1 boxbox LETTER 2 4 boxes=space \| ̲̅D̲̅O̲̲̅̅с̲̅ H̲̲̲̅̅O̲̅l̲̅l̲̅i̲̲̲̲̅̅̅d̲̲̲̅̅a̲̲̲̅̅y̲̲̲̅̅\| i desperately need those points btw <3

If you wanna make cool things, try microsoft word go to insert>symbols and just see stuff

Make sure it is notepad not wordpad, and Possibly save it as ANSI? It works for me. If you want your name in a box give me 50 points and PM me and I'll do it for anybody
