When i try to install there is a blues screen for .1 sec and then nothing else pops up

It sounds like your discs are unreadable, to me. But I'm no tech expert. This is going to sounds really weird, but when my BF2 disc couldn't install a file, I went out and bought eye glass cleaner wipes, and whiped down the offending disc. Worked like a charm from there. Alternetively, you can make a new folder on your desktop, put three folders inside. Name them Disc one, Disk two, and Disk three. Put in the first disc, open up my computer, right click, hit explore, and copy all the files into the folder you named "disc one". Then repeat with the other two discs, and install. I could be wrong, but I know EA has a tutorial on that SOMEWHERE. If all else fails, torrent it. It's not illegal if you have a working CD key.

I have a retail copy that has like 5 discs, how come you have one?

Modern Warfare ftw, I think BF2 is the best FPS game on pc, but thats my opinion. Have you made sure nothing is blocking the install, firewall?
