Ok, so i get that in order for csa to be "completed" you need, like, 30 assessments.

that's probably fine for the css section, but as a few of you might know, i submit primarily in the cs:cz section, which has far fewer viewers. less viewers = less ratings. thus, i propose that the requirements for csa completion be substantially lowered for sections other than css.

as evidence, i cite the fact that i have 125 submissions. to the best of my knowledge, not one of them has completed csa. some don't even have assessments.

What's wrong with CSA not being completed? If you get less assessments, I assume you'd want it open for as long as possible. What if the limit is 10, and you get 10 in the first day if it's featured or something. You don't want more assessments?

Well i'd like wrapups on a few of mine, and they aren't done until csa is completed

Ok I guess. Wouldn't a more feasible thing to ask is that we change our policy in only wrapping up submissions where the CSA is completed? Keep it to a reasonable number though.

What I think we should do is if there are no assessments for more than a month, it gets a wrap up. Or better yet, come up with a progression type of thing, come up with a different name for the idle caused wrap ups.

What if it goes 30 days without an assessment?

Problem is, those first 10-15 assessments are generally biased, its your watchers or studiomembers/friends rating it. So basing a wrapup off their comments then would make the wrapup biased as well. Whereas in a few months perhaps some people come along and post the real problems with your work, give other opinoins and comments that change the overall rating and opinion of the submission.

30 is still a low number, there are places you can post links to advertise your work, Newest page of each section is a good starting place, just don't make threads, keep it in the submissions section, ie Maps, Skins, Sounds whatever, use the Newest page to advertise your work to complete assessments.
