I can't access any servers, how do I fix this? It says the server has a different version but I got 9.04 and it said in the game name: GMod 9.0.4 :S. HELP!

Exit the game, go into it again, try again? Wait a few minutes? Happens all the time, if that doesn't work, then there's probably something wrong with the version... or someone else can help you here. Just pointing out some things that could help you out.

I've heard you can get viruses from some Gmod9 servers so if you don't really like to play mp, don't risk it ;)

I think i found out your problem and mine, 1. install hl2 lost coast 2. restart steam 3. launch gmod 9 4. if it doesnt work keep restarting the game or redownload it and reinstall it.

GMOD9 has problems with servers (ever since GMOD's newest big patch). Plus, multiplayer can give you viruses. Biggest best suggestion (BEST) I can give you is get GMOD (one that costs money).

The only servers you can access are the 2 facewan servers, and they have viruses Just get gmod 10.

Ok thanks guys for telling me u can get viruses in multiplayer. I've been thinking of getting gmod 10 for using episode 1 and 2 content. To superflea, I already have it installed.

Just exit the game. then use the steam server browser and go to filters, then set it to garry's mod 9. then you can enter the servers playing under hl2mp.

The dollar is so low at the moment that ten dollars is nothing, the only way you wouldn't have an extra ten bucks is if you were homeless and without a job. And how many countless times do I have to say, you can use PayPal for buying games over Steam, all you need is a bank account. And don't tell me some peeps don't have one.

Looks like someone has the wrong information, the FaceWAN Gmod9 servers are still working and DO NOT have viruses. If you want help with Gmod9, check out facewan.com
