Fraps Extremely laggy...

Okay well I've been using FRAPS for quite some time now, and up until the last 2 months or so it's run fabulous, I just got a drop of about 5 fps whenever I activated it. Well now instead of dropping by 5 FPS it's dropping to 5 fps. So what I'm wondering is if this is a frequent problem and I'm wondering if there's a fix. If it's because FRAPS is a shitty problem could someone please give me a link to a download of a better in-game or desktop recorder? Thanks ahead of time. And hell, while I'm at it, anyone have any map or prefab requests / ideas? :) It's a 2 in 1 thread. :O How bad ass.

Well this same thing is happening to me i dont know what Fraps problem is but i hate it now. you can download this ingame recorder. it records for how ever long you want it to. EDIT: the damn link didnt work so just go to wegame.com and download the ingame recorder.

Idk, FRAPS has always made me lag like hella bad for games. i guess thats what you get for trying to be a frag fag. For my games on wow i get 80-105 FPS without fraps. with it i get like, 20 something. For CSS i get about 80-120 FPS without fraps. With fraps on i get down to 5-15 FPS. so i would like to find a better recording deal, but for CSS, ill just get the demo's haha. dont know how to help ya demonsoul.
