Compile freeze on portal flow

Well i want to compile to test my map, only 1/10 of it is done. But when the compile gets to portal flow portal flow: 0...1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8...9... It freezes there and doesnt go any further, ive tried this on 2 pcs. what would be the problem.

Your compile isn't freezing, it's just stalling because your map is too complicated and needs to be optimized. Read the tutorial below to learn about optimization. Zombies Optimization Guide.

Well like i said its tiny. Waterfall, small river, and some trees. Theres barely anything to optimised.

Obviously theres a problem with optimization since vvis is freezing on you. Post what there is of your compile log.

U cant ctrl alt delete, then select vis... in the process tab and end it.

Yeah listen to spyboy...and if not restart and go to where your map is saved and itll be there...and do a fast compile when your testing like that!!!

We only need the bsp compile log, don't bother with vvis or vrad.

Do vvis on fast everything else on normal. Should work then.
