The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus is Heath Ledger's last movie. He died during the filming of the movie. I was watching a show about it on E. They said they were filming the movie some where, where it is really cold. He was there for a long time so it started to take a toll on his body. He ended up getting sick. He decided he needed a break from filming so he decided to go to New York City to catch up with his friends, and try to get better. He got prescription drugs for his him being sick, not really sure what he was sick of. He also had insomnia so he was taking a prescripted drug for his insomnia, the drugs prescription were giving by separate doctors, so they didn't know that he was getting any other drugs then their own. Apparently the drugs that were given to Heath have a deadly outcome if taken together. This combination of drugs have been taken before many of times, but not a lot of people heard of it before, probably because a celebrity hasn't used the combination.

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus is a fantastical morality tale, set in the present day. It tells the story of Dr Parnassus and his extraordinary 'Imaginarium', a travelling show where members of the audience get an irresistible opportunity to choose between light and joy or darkness and gloom. Blessed with the extraordinary gift of guiding the imaginations of others, Dr Parnassus is cursed with a dark secret. Long ago he made a bet with the devil, Mr Nick, in which he won immortality. Many centuries later, on meeting his one true love, Dr Parnassus made another deal with the devil, trading his immortality for youth, on condition that when his first-born reached its 16th birthday he or she would become the property of Mr Nick. Valentina is now rapidly approaching this 'coming of age' milestone and Dr Parnassus is desperate to protect her from her impending fate. Mr Nick arrives to collect but, always keen to make a bet, renegotiates the wager. Now the winner of Valentina will be determined by whoever seduces the first five souls. Enlisting a series of wild, comical and compelling characters in his journey, Dr Parnassus promises his daughter's hand in marriage to the man that helps him win. In this captivating, explosive and wonderfully imaginative race against time, Dr Parnassus must fight to save his daughter in a never-ending landscape of surreal obstacles - and undo the mistakes of his past once and for all...

Cast:
Since the movie is still in production, they obviously couldn't use Heath Ledger, so that means that they didn't have a lead role, but they don't want to re-film all of the parts with him, so they found new actors that will take over his role for the rest of the movie. The actors are Johnny Depp, Colin Farrel, and Jude Law.

The rest of the cast can be found here.

How are they going to make 3 separate actors play one part as a filler for one other extraordinary actor? This is enough to make me want to see the movie. And I wish Heath Ledger wasn't dead.

In respect of Heath Ledger, I think they should just quit this film, because having 3 different actors trying to play he's role will just be discreasefull.
Al Pacino is the man!
