Hey guys. I was wondering, is it possible to convert an M1 Garand (which is .30 cal) to a .22 calibre rifle?

The M1 Garand is one of my favourite rifles of all time and I would love to have one, even if it is -0.8 cal :P

if not, so you know of any .22 rifles with M! Garand conversion kits?

cheers. KThxBai

You'd have to get a new barrel, or re-bore the current one (although I dunno how you'd make it smaller), that's for sure. Otherwise, I don't really know.

Ask /k/ on 4chan. They'll know

Not worth the time and money if you ask me. i would just buy a ruger 10/22 and try and convert it into an m1. it would probably be cheaper that way. you can turn a ruger 10/22 into almost anything.
