Wel im in afghanistan for 2 weeks now and i must say its better than i expected it to be. this is my first tour and the 15th july ill become 18 (yes i wil still be here when its mah birthday) if you wonder why im so young and here already well ,i went to military school and you can go on a foreign mission the year you turn 18 so i applied to go abroad,so they sent me to afghanistan. now if some of you wonder if i saw action around here i must say yes. on my first patrol the vehiclein front of the rest broke down so the other cars couldnt turn or pass the first car(it was on a mountain slope)(correct spelling?) so we had to get out of our vehicles and head for another unit wich would pick us up some kilometers away from us so my squad was walking for 5 hours stright so i told them too take a rest in a house. once there after 10minutes we heard a bang,this was an rpg that hit one of the walls of the house,the residents fled and soon we realised that we were surrounded aftera firefight that took over 6 hours we got a chance to get away in heicopters that picked us up,none of my men got hurt or injured the taliban(i presume) would have lost aproximutly 56men(air strikes made most of the cassualties). we also got attacked by 2 IED's (improvised explosive device but none hit target) so i tought i would type this as we are moving outfor another patral in some hours i had to buy internet with my own money here and it sucks so i cant upload anny pictures yet. once i get home ill post al mah epic pictures just for you guys btw its 5 o'clock in the morning over here dont mind the grammar/spelling sergaent baetslé 5de bevrijdingslinie belgishe leger peleton 15

Generation kill, god it's so true. Soldiers are nothing like they use to be. By the way, do you happen to have any proof of being in the military. Sorry to say but I don't believe any of this, to many fakers on this site.

I'm assuming your not with the Canadian Forces. It wasn't as bad as they made it out to be, but we had some rough days during my tour.

Hey hope your safe man, your pretty brave to go to Afghanistan. i wouldnt be able to handel the lack of computer usage lol but seriously if you dont come back alive il kill you...... oh anyway have a good time at least
