In the coming weeks, the mod team will be preforming massive purges of all the poor quality posts that we ALL see on a daily basis. We've started on a smaller scale already, and we plan on becoming more intense. We will be targeting spam posts and those lacking effort specifically, along with all of the usual stuff. You know, rude posts and such. Ones with just random pictures, have nothing to do with the topic, are unconstructive (ie: Search google posts, or poor feedback) will all be withheld . If you are unaware if your post falls into the aforementioned category or not, please consult the Posting Rules. Gags will be handed out, as well as bans in serious cases. When we withhold your post or gag you, complaining will be looked down upon. Saying "other people post way worse!" will not get you out of a jam. Refusing to revise a post may result in a gag as well. If we wanted it to be trashed, we'd trash it ourselves. The trash can is right next to the little flag, it's not hard. We want it to be revised, so please, revise it. Those of you who are interested in what we are doing, and would like to help, then please, report all the posts you find that you deem inappropriate. I check the postwatch often, as do several other mods, but we can't catch everything. If you don't know how to report a post, read this. You can Report a problem thread or submission as well. You can do it via the "report this submission" link on most submissions or the link in the footer. We appreciate it. This will start soon, and will affect everyone. I play no favorites, and treat everyone equally, as do the other mods. You abuse the system, we come for you. It's quite simple. We don't hold grudges. Chances are, if you've done something to provoke such a grudge, you're already banned. I thank you all for your cooperation in advance.

This is good to here. There's been a lot more of it recently and its nice to hear that the mod team have been forming a plan of action. It'll be even better when we can see the results.

Who would have guessed that implimenting the thumbing system would not result in lowered shit posts..? Oh wait, me! Damn I'm good. Anywho, is there really any point to doing this in studios and clubs? Oh dear, I hope this doesn't end up like rpgforums.com (my old regular) This is the exact same post that it got, and the same thing that has now officially killed the community. Hopefully no one gets powerhungry, or people start quitting. I also hope that this doesn't constrict submissions and creativity, by being too serious. Facepunch for teh lose.

Seems that the new thumbing system, as Emperor Doom has said, screws up post quality. People start to make posts to get "thumb ups"...and I just don't feel like writing longer posts because I don't find the system as sturdy nor fair as the old system.
