Compiling error I get a weird error when compiling my model using studiocompiler

Hi, I'm a new guy in this forum so hi to you all! :) Now the reason i came here is because i got problems getting my models compiled. Yesterday i made an airplane in milkshape. Today i tried to compile it using studiocompiler, i followed a tutorial on facepunchstudios for this. And i managed to get my textures compiled, but when i try to compile my model i get this very annoying weird error saying: ERROR: Bad command { Now i looked this up, and found several solutions that should fix this problem, like resetting ur sdk to hl2 and stuff like that. This way i allmost lost my mod wich i'm working on, but don't worry bout that, i fixed that.:D Now bout an hour ago i changed some things (atleast i think) and suddenly it worked, i got my model perfectly into gmod. It looked very nice, except for one thing, it didn't have the right scale. So i exited gmod to fix it, adjusted the scale, tried to recompile and shizzles i got that error thing again :( My guess is that it has something to do with the model itself (in milkshape) I hope you guys can help me, if you need more info about anything please ask. You should compile with guistudiomdl ;) it's alot better.. studio compiler is for more experienced compiler ;)

I tried guistudiomdl before i got to studiocompiler but i can't get the textures to work with it. Any tips?

Is there really no one who can help? I read about this problem in over a thousend post of people having the same problem as me over and over again, interlopers,facepunch,hl2world,valve forum,... you name it. And not ONE sollution to this? I found out that the problem is caused by a { in the qc file wich is read by the compiler as a bad command. I changed my qc in every possible way allready. Still no luck, although... This morning i tried it again, and suddenly it worked (using GUIstudioMDL) than, i tried it again, to see if the error really had gone away, and there i had it again. This is very confusing, sometimes it's like it overlooks the { and it compiles. I have no clue why this is happening. But i'd really like to get a sollution to this problem, because i'm allready searching for it over 3 days now. And all this, just to get a simple test plane into garrysmod. lol Greetz

Found the sollution yesterday: Listen good those who come across this having the same problem as i had. First use GUIstudioMDL, NOT studiocompiler, don't ask why, it's cuz it sucks :p Than, before compiling make sure source sdk IS OPENED UP. Otherwise the program gives the { error. Than make sure ur qc is 100% free of bugs, open up GUIstudioMDL, load ur qc file, choose ur game and compile. Normally this should work. Again forget studiocompiler, say hello GUIstudioMDL !!!!!
