Hey,
Im somewhat new to modeling in XSI. But i know the full proccess now of modeling static props. I can compile/texture/model.
But my model i done is wrong :(

For some practice, i just made a model of The orangebox game case :D
Something nice and easy for practice, however, when i make the model, everything is all fine n that. It all compiles fine etc. But then when i load the model up in model viewer, it shows the model in a square cube shaped model. Even tho in XSI i made it recangular and thin, like a real game box.
But idk why its scaling its self into a cube :(

Heres a pic of my model in XSI:

Now, when i view the model in half life model viewer, this is what it looks like :(:
http://img353.imageshack.us/img353/9791/ob1pm0.jpg

And to help you help me more, heres what my QC file contains:
// Output .MDL
$modelname ob/ob.mdl

// Directory of materials that the model uses
$cdmaterials models/ob

// Model properties

// model is a static prop
$staticprop

// Material properties
$surfaceprop "plastic"

// Base or Reference .SMD
$body studio "ob"

// sequences: all sequences are in $cd
$sequence idle "ob_idle" loop fps 15

// Physics data
$collisionmodel "ob_phys.smd" {
$Mass 5
$concave}

-----------------------------------------------
I know this QC file works because i used it in the same way for other models, and they worked, but this one doesnt :(
I tried starting a new scene and doing it again, but it always does the same thing :(

All i done, was make a primitive Cube. Shape it into a thin box shape, UV map it, export it, and thats all in XSI.
And i did do all the right exports and UV's, because i tested them out on another model and they worked fine. Its just this thin shape always enlarges itself :(

Im not fully into understanding the QC file, so if someone could correct me on anything i did wrong please tell me.
Heres my scene file to download if that helps you:

Please help me :)

I can't remember quite what the command is, but it's something like freeze changes have you done that?

Yeah, i did the freeze modeling. But i may of done this at the wrong time? Idk.
What i did was, make the model into the game box shape, then texture it, then do the UV. Stamp the UV. Then, i froze modeling. Then i exported it. And thats it

Did i freeze at the wrong time?
If you look at my first screen, the one where im in XSI, look on the lower right, you can see a part named 'Freeze history' Under it is the 2 buttons 'Modeling' and 'Object'. I selected my model, then hit those 2 freeze buttons, and thats it.
Did i do it at the wrong time or sumting? O.o
