Register anticsofwar.com, then go to your World of Warcraft directory and open realmlist.wtf in notepad. And delete everything there and change it to set realmlist logon.anticsofwar.com Then wait about 2 minutes and log in. If you cant log in, just wait a little longer. Edit : Vote! Played, had a 70 Mage, and Lock. Both had season 2 gladiator gear, and raid gear. My mage had a nether drake, and my lock had a epic flyer. Also, had a bunch of twinks and thats it. I quit, because all the stuff I did got repetive, and boring, also to go to AoC which sucks now.

I totalleh did. All my friends used to be all liek NURD GTFO. Then I made them play. All of them have 70s now. I can almost guarantee everyone that flames WoW has never gotten past level 20. I must say though, altogether now that I think about it it's not particularly fun, its more or less addictive. Kind of like this website, you just can't stay away. I played a few private servers. I say they're worth it, loads of fun they can be. Maybe you could make it like.. Banana. It'd help to spread the RPG section DEFINITELY, and it'd get populated fast, more people on here play WoW than you think, they just don't bring it up.

But yeah, I don't really play WoW anymore. E/ Also, I would play on the Private Server with you if you made one. I lack everything required for it. :P Haha, yea I have some skills, and I'm going to try and learn, so while I start its pretty much going to be a basic server, First thing I'll learn to do though is kick up the xp scales. I'll probably post another thread once I get everything set and I feel that its ready for some people to join up and test out my connection and stuff to decide what to do about hosting if we need it.

Private servers are fun, but then again its a bitch to setup, and a bitch to have to update it ever patch. Also, you got crybabies who play on your server, asking to be GM the whole time. If you did make one, id play on it and be a gm to help out maintain it.

I'm willing to commit. And as far as cry babies go. I tell them to put in a GM app on the forums, if the gm app is refused then they are out of the running for X amount of months. Yea, wheres the sites where you can actually setup a private server. Also, itd be easy to set up a site for the private server, and registration and all that, and you can even get alot of people just by advertising.

I play. In a private server :D WoWscape server. WoWcrack realm :D, Used to play retail, but it was giving my mom billing issues, so i stopped. But this server is just fine. If anyone plays WoWscape, let me know.

Think you could add my xfire (Darksoul6116) and possibly keep me updated later on whether your doing it or not, etc? I've always wanted a new smaller private server to play on, I used to play one with like 30 people, it was soo fun, we had weekly events with like climbs created by GMs (Similar to XC maps kind of, they made them out in one of the open mountains on the islands in tanaris), hide and seek, overall it was really cool. Oh yeah and we 10 manned Black Temple and killed the last boss (Forget his name) as rabbits. It was fucking intense. But yeah. Sorry to get offtopic. Memories are clicking in on me. /wrists

I remember toxicWOW used to be like my favorite private server.I used to play retail but it got boring as hell. BTW!If your gonna setup a server use Antrix,its more versatile than MaNgOs.

Basically, WoW melted my laptop. Fucked it up completely and utterly. I played a 10 day free trial, then switched to a private server a friend of mine uses. My Laptop then broke. Haven't touched it since.

Psst, World Of Warcraft Players Club. Anyways, Klexicon, if you do make a private server remember to set it up just right. I know people that like to play on private realms where everything is normal but the level cap isn't 80, it's higher.

Yea I think thats basically antrix.I know theres a huge forum devoted to private servers and it has nice tutorials on how to set things up.I actually got it running but I fucked something up in MySQL by mistake.

I tried WOWScape and I hated it.The thought of earning stuff is horrible. :) Unless they changed it now..I remeber ToxicWOW and it was hella good until they did a server reset and changed there server base or whatever its called(mangos or antrix ya know).
