I'm testing the I/O (input/output) system with a button that makes a func_movelinear move. The I/O system is working, but I'm having some problems with the func_movelinear. I've named it "door1"
I've set it's move direction, move distance etc.. But, when I changed the move direction, it has been rotated ingame! Here are some pictures:

Here is what it looks like in Hammer. It's intended to move in the arrow's direction (move direction):

Here is what it looks ingame. It has been rotated and still It moves in the (new) arrow's direction:

What can I do to fix it? I guess I need to set it's start position, or something like that, but there is not a config about this... The game is changing it's spawn position... I tried using func_door instead but the same happens...

First guess is that you changed the pitch yaw roll, but it looks fine in hammer. Thats all that comes to mind.

used it a bit myself in a portal map, never had that happen though. Just mistaking added negative values once to a stair, funny thing.

Well, I've not changed the pitch yaw roll, but I've used the "Point At" button in the Move Direction setting, and I guess it's essential, lol.

Solved.

So what was the problem? (I'm asking cause if I ever get the same problem, I can use this thread as a reference :P)

Well, I was using the "Point At" button.. this was the mistake lol
I shouldn't have used the Point At button, but the "Pitch Yaw Roll" setting. That's what actually determines the moving direction of the entity :P
I've used 0 270 0, so it moved horizontally and to the correct direction =D
