Custom Transparent Decals Need Help!

Well. I'm in photoshop 7 and I need to know how to create custom transparent textures for counter strike: source. I have the *vtf plug-in but I'm not sure how to make it transparent. Please help.

Need to make alpha channels for your texture. Creating Custom Decals its nice to see you mapping again :P

To Address your other comment I've just recently began mapping again. I've been releasing for a clan only though. I'll probably do a release of the maps without their decals and such. I've done a few though.

Blegh! Sorry for the double post but I want people to notice this post so I can get some help. I get to step 5, of the tutorial Lost has linked me to, with no trouble and then when I hit [delete] I get nothing. Nothing gets deleted. What did I do wrong?

Make sure you set your color pallets to the default colors(Press D). If it still doesn't work, try just using the brush tool to fill in the selection with white. Also make sure your image background is Transparent.

Error.... Could not save as "C: \... \JackDecal.vtf" because image does not have 3 or 4 channels.
