Minimum size must be 1024x1024, but it is recommended that you use your own size, remember that this is for a 16 slot deathmatch server.
Must be textured, no ag_texture maps.
Must have the prefix aim_negx_
Should not use many custom textures, if any. Bonus points for having a small file size.
Must be visually appealing and utilize cover.

Hello, I will soon be getting a 16 slot deathmatch server in LA, and I was hoping to get a custom map made for my server. I am offering 7500 points to the winner, 1250 points to second place, and 500 points to third. Please read the rules if you are interested. The winner will have his or her map put on the NegX deathmatch public server.

The kind of map I'm looking for is something like aim_ag_texture2, but larger and a unique layout. It must be detailed, have a CT and T spawn, and unlike aim_ag_texture2 it must be textured. Please use a minimum amount of effects like fog and smoke, as I would like people with older computers to be able to run this map, say GeForce 6 series.

Fast-DL does not make up for a 20 MB map. I stated in the rules that custom textures are allowed but that you must keep the file size as low as possible, and that it will factor into your score.

I can make an map for u contact me on steam an ill use an logo of your Server name an ip on the map plus some other stuff, do u want the map to be dust theme or what?

The theme is totally up to you, and you can start it like an ag_texture map I just want it to be textured after. It must be professionally done, with breakable windows if there are any, hdr, displacements, etc. The size of the map is not up for debate, I do not limit you but the lower the better.

Oh by the way, I have a question about the rules. You say you want a map like aim_ag_texture2, that one doesn't have props in it. Are we allowed to put props in ours?

Yes, but again, I suggest nothing custom, as I want the filesize down. Not disallowing it if it's small, just reminding you that I like the filesize small.

Well, what I was meaning, in a more broad term, is there in recognition? Or is it just having your map put on there? To help explain more, I'm asking can we put our name in the map, or will there be another way of recognition? Ex. When the little server page pops up after joining explaining the server and what not, will there be a little side note saying, "Thanks tpskjarhead aka ZiggityZao (for example) for the custom map. Find more of his work here at http://www.fpsbanana.com/members/138062." Will there be something like that or what? For for the confusion earlier.
